Position Overview
Premier Bookkeeping is seeking a detail-oriented and reliableRemote Bookkeeperto manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for our clients. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience withQuickBooks Online, strong data-entry skills, and the ability to accurately reconcile accounts, process invoices, and maintain organized financial records.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience
Strong working knowledge ofQuickBooks Online
Experience with bank and credit card reconciliations
Experience creating and managing invoices
Excellent data-entry and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Comfortable working with spreadsheets and financial records
Ability to identify discrepancies and research solutions
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Reliable internet connection and a professional remote-work setup
Ability to manage multiple clients, tasks, and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
QuickBooks Online certification
Experience working for a bookkeeping, accounting, or CPA firm
Experience handling bookkeeping for multiple businesses
Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable
Experience with month-end close procedures
Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills

Key Responsibilities
Manage bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks Online
Enter and categorize financial transactions accurately
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Review transactions and identify discrepancies or missing information
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client financial records
Create, send, and track customer invoices
Enter and process bills and other financial documentation
Match transactions, payments, deposits, and invoices
Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable data entry
Review QuickBooks accounts for accuracy and completeness
Research and resolve reconciliation discrepancies
Maintain organized digital records and supporting documentation
Assist with month-end bookkeeping and account cleanup
Communicate with clients or internal team members when additional documentation or clarification is needed
Follow established bookkeeping procedures and quality-control processes
Maintain strict confidentiality of financial and client information
