BookkeeperWe are seeking a skilled bookkeeper to join our client’s team.Local company seeking an experienced bookkeeper.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Bookkeeper Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 20.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance.Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries.Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.Maintains historical records by filing documents.Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Bookkeeper Qualifications:2+ years progressive bookkeeping experience or 4+ years of accounting/clerical experienceDemonstrable broad US GAAP knowledgeProficiency in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook).Applicant may be subject to a background checkApplicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle ReportPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
