Part-Time Bookkeeper (In-Person)

Ask George provides concierge business support services to small and growing businesses in Northern Virginia. We are expanding and seeking a reliable, detail-oriented part-time Bookkeeper to support accounting activities for our clients.
Job Summary
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and recordkeeping. This is an in-person position based in Falls Church, VA.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
Process invoices, receipts, and payments
Reconcile bank and credit card statements
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Prepare financial reports for management review
Assist with year-end reporting and audits as needed
Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field preferred)
2+ years of bookkeeping experience (Online QuickBooks experience a plus)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard accounting software
Schedule & Compensation
** Part-time: ** 10–15 hours per week, flexible weekday hours
