Key Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper
Maintain accurate general ledger activity and oversee day‑to‑day bookkeeping operations as the Bookkeeper
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions while ensuring timely vendor payments as the Bookkeeper
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations and prepare necessary journal entries as the Bookkeeper
Assist with month‑end close procedures and financial reporting support as the Bookkeeper
Organize financial documentation and support audit and leadership reporting needs as the Bookkeeper
Qualifications for the Bookkeeper
3+ years of bookkeeping or general accounting experience
Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks required; solid understanding of debits, credits, and GL processes
Highly detail‑oriented with strong Excel skills and the ability to work independently in a fully onsite environment
