Bookkeeper OpportunityWe are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support day-to-day financial operations for a growing organization in Cheektowaga, New York. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone who is comfortable managing core accounting tasks, maintaining accurate records, and helping keep financial processes organized and up to date. The right candidate will bring hands-on experience with transactional accounting and a strong command of QuickBooks.Responsibilities:Maintain accurate financial records by entering, reviewing, and organizing routine accounting transactions.Process vendor invoices, schedule payments, and monitor outgoing transactions to support accounts payable activities.Prepare and distribute customer invoices, track incoming payments, and follow up on outstanding balances related to accounts receivable.Reconcile bank accounts on a regular basis to verify balances, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly.Use QuickBooks to record daily financial activity and produce clear, reliable account information.Assist with month-end bookkeeping tasks by ensuring supporting documentation is complete and account records are current.
