BookkeeperJames Beard Award-winning Chef Gavin Kaysen is seeking a detail-oriented, organized Part-Time Bookkeeper to support our Director of Accounting across a growing hospitality group that includes four restaurants and a professional sports catering company. This is an important role in keeping the business organized, the books accurate, and operations running smoothly.What You'll DoProcess, reconcile, and enter invoices and credit card purchasesReview and reconcile vendor statementsReview daily and weekly sales entriesCommunicate with vendors by phone and emailMaintain organized accounting files and documentationAssist with audits, fact-checking, and resolving discrepanciesSupport the Director of Accounting with other accounting needs as they ariseWhat We're Looking For1+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experienceStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyExcellent organization, communication, and time-management skillsAbility to work independently and take ownershipComfortable handling confidential informationProficiency with Microsoft Excel and QuickBooksBill.com experience preferredHospitality or restaurant operations experience is a plusWe value people who care about the details, support their teammates, and understand the pace and spirit of hospitality.Schedule & Compensation25-30 hours per weekFlexibility to set your schedule Monday-Friday between 9am-5pmIn-office position in the North Loop$20-$22/hour, depending on experienceBenefitsPaid time off (PTO) is accrued at a rate of 1 hour per 30 hours worked and is available for use as soon as it is accrued.Employer-subsidized health, dental, accident, life, and short term disability insurance plans are available after 90 days of employment.A 401(k) retirement plan with company matching is available to Part-Time team members after two years and 500 hours worked per year.Free and unlimited access to Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services.Discounted employee dining at Spoon and Stable.Soigné Hospitality Group was created by Chef Gavin Kaysen, chef and owner of Spoon and Stable, Demi, Bellecour, and KZ Provisioning.
