Job description
BookkeeperGrowing New York City real estate firm is currently seeking a Bookkeeper. This role focuses on managing financial operations for real estate portfolios, ensuring accuracy and compliance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Yardi software and a strong background in property management accounting.Responsibilities:Handle daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.Maintain and manage financial records using Yardi property management software.Prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for real estate properties.Process tenant payments, vendor invoices, and oversee timely collections and disbursements.Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements, resolving any discrepancies.Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and conducting cash flow analysis for real estate assets.Collaborate with property managers and asset managers to provide financial reporting and insights.
