As a Bookkeeping Consultant, you will be a full-time employee of Robert Half and work on interim and project-based assignments with our clients throughout the Greater Syracuse New York region.

Responsibilities
Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable support
Bank, cash, and general ledger reconciliations
Journal entry preparation and posting
Month-end and year-end close activities
Financial reporting and analysis
Account analysis and balance sheet reconciliations
Payroll processing and support
Budgeting and forecasting assistance
Audit preparation and support
Cash applications and collections activities
ERP implementations, system conversions, and process improvement initiatives
Special accounting projects and operational support
Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or related experience
Experience with accounting software and ERP systems
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and environments
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with client teams
