HeartWell Services LLC is looking for a dependable and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team in Albuquerque.

We are a DDSD Waiver provider, so experience with DDSD/DD Waiver, Medicaid, or a similar healthcare or service-based organization is preferred. The right person will be comfortable handling day-to-day bookkeeping, keeping records organized, and working with QuickBooks. Requirements:

Bookkeeper Job Duties

* Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks

* Enter and categorize income and expenses

* Reconcile bank and credit card accounts

* Track invoices, payments, and receipts

* Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable

* Assist with payroll-related bookkeeping as needed

* Prepare basic financial reports for management

* Keep financial records organized and ready for audits

* Track and maintain documentation related to DDSD/Medicaid funding

* Identify and correct discrepancies in financial records

* Assist with month-end bookkeeping and other accounting tasks as needed

Bookkeeper Requirements

* Previous bookkeeping experience required

* QuickBooks experience required

* Good understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting

* Strong attention to detail

* Good organizational and time-management skills

* Comfortable working independently

* Ability to handle confidential financial information

* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

Bookkeeper's Preferred Experience

* DDSD/DD Waiver experience

* Medicaid or healthcare experience

* Experience working with a disability services provider

* Experience with payroll or employee-related accounting

* Experience preparing financial records for audits
