BookkeeperA well-established manufacturing and distribution company is seeking an experienced bookkeeper to support its day-to-day accounting operations. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys variety, working closely with leadership, and contributing beyond traditional bookkeeping responsibilities.The bookkeeper will manage core accounting activities across AP, AR, general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close. This role is well suited for someone who thrives in a smaller-company environment, enjoys taking ownership, and can comfortably shift between accounting responsibilities and operational projects.Key ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle accounting, including AP, AR, and general ledger activityPerform account reconciliations and support month-end closePrepare financial reports and assist with financial and operational analysisMaintain accurate accounting records and resolve discrepanciesPartner with leadership on special projects and process improvementsHelp strengthen accounting procedures and internal controlsSupport additional accounting and operational needs as the business evolvesQualificationsStrong hands-on bookkeeping or accounting experienceSolid general ledger knowledge with experience in AP, AR, reconciliations, and month-end closeManufacturing and/or distribution industry experience requiredSmall to mid-sized, privately held company experience strongly preferredWorking knowledge of Excel; ERP experience is a plusCollaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing prioritiesWhy Join?Opportunity to take ownership of a broad accounting functionDirect exposure to leadership and involvement in process improvementsCollaborative environment where versatility and initiative are valuedContract-to-hire opportunity with potential for long-term growth
