About the Role:
CJG Partners LLP is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Bookkeeper to join our team in Schaumburg, IL. Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow on a regular basis
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports in a timely manner
Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
Collaborate with partners and staff to ensure financial data accuracy and reporting deadlines are met
Requirements:
2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms
Strong knowledge of general ledger, bank reconciliation, and basic accounting principles
Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing
High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
