Job description
BookkeeperOur client is currently seeking a bookkeeper to join their team. All applicants must have knowledge of accounting, bookkeeping and QuickBooks. Responsibilities:Complete tax formsEnter data, maintain records, and create reports and financial statementsAccounts payable – Review and improve purchasing processes and costsAccounts receivable - Review incoming payments within the systemMaintain general ledger (chart of accounts) and all account reconciliations (including monthly bank reconciliations) across multiple entitiesResponsible for cash management of the entitiesMonthly, quarterly, and annual reporting as required by managementAbility to create custom financial reports as neededReview of financial data to ensure accuracyCoordinate quarterly and as needed with accountants for yearend taxes and financialProcess payroll and ensure timely and accurate payroll reportingCoordinate, prepare and facilitate bank depositsPrepare weekly check runsQualifications:Associates/bachelor's degree preferred2+ years bookkeeping/accounting experience requiredExperience with QuickBooks requiredExperience with Appfolio preferred (but not required)Excellent communication skillsHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailStrong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Office, including ExcelAbility to adapt to changing job requirementsHigh level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy
