Box MakerAHF Products has a job opportunity for a Box Maker on Third Shift located in West Plains, Missouri. The Box Maker is responsible for fabricating boxes from corrugated cardboard materials.Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401KJob Duties:Pull cardboard blanks from the pallet and place them on the box table.Assemble cartons for finished flooring by folding pre-cut corrugated cardboard stock and inserting tables into pro-cut slots.Supply nesting line with enough folded cartons to maintain production pace.Monitor the temperature at the high mass oven, notifying the supervisor or lead grader of any abnormal temperature readings.Monitor the stain operation product flow during color checks, notifying the stain operator of any problems.Perform any other duties assigned.Job Qualifications:Must be able to successfully complete and pass a background check, employment verification and drug screening.Positive and verifiable work history.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Physical Demands:Continually push, pull, carry, and lift 5-50 lbs.Regularly standing, walking, stretching, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, kneeling, crouching, grasping and repetitive movements.Continually works in a non-temperature-controlled environment.Frequently works near moving mechanical parts.Continually able to work in moderate noise, up to 83 decibels.Frequently talk, hear, read, write.Continually works in a non-temperature-controlled environment exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles.Continual specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.Mental Demands:Make decisionsDevelop options and implement solutionsWork with a teamMaintain regular and punctual attendance (consistent with ADA and/or FMLA)Attention to detailCommunicate effectivelyBe alert and focused on task at handMultitask in a fast-paced environmentWork with a sense of urgencyAHF Products provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.AHF Products is a leading hard surface flooring manufacturer in the USA with a family of trusted brands serving the residential and commercial hardwood, tile, and vinyl flooring markets.
