BoxedInn Trucking LLC is seeking a Box Truck Driver to support reliable transportation services in the Dallas, TX area.
Position Summary
The Box Truck Driver will operate a box truck to transport goods safely and efficiently while maintaining professional service standards. This role supports timely deliveries, accurate handling of shipments, and adherence to all transportation and safety requirements.
In addition to driving, the Box Truck Driver will be responsible for preparing for routes, managing daily delivery activities, and ensuring vehicle condition checks are completed in accordance with company expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Operate a box truck safely and responsibly, following all traffic laws and company driving procedures.
Plan and complete assigned routes to support on-time pickup and delivery of shipments.
Handle shipments with care, ensuring items are properly secured and documented as required.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
Maintain accurate records related to routes, deliveries, and delivery status.
Required Qualifications
Valid driver’s license and ability to meet all licensing and driving requirements for the role.
Safe driving record and demonstrated ability to operate a box truck in a reliable, professional manner.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete delivery tasks accurately.
Willingness to work full-time with a strong commitment to punctuality and dependable performance.
Ability to perform job-related physical tasks required for loading, unloading, and inspecting shipments and the vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior delivery or commercial driving experience, including operating box trucks or similar vehicles.
Familiarity with basic shipping and documentation processes related to pickups and deliveries.
Experience working in a time-sensitive environment where delivery accuracy and speed matter.
Strong communication skills for coordinating delivery status and addressing route-related updates.
Compensation
Weekly salary: $500- $1,200 Depending on loads, miles, performance, and freight availability. Pay may vary from week to week.
