Brake Press Operator – 2nd ShiftFaribault, MN$22.00-$25.00 per hour2nd Shift | Monday-FridayTemp | Full-timeAbout the OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Brake Press Operators for a power solutions manufacturing company in Faribault, MN. In this role, you'll help produce high-quality metal components used in innovative power systems while working in a modern manufacturing environment. Read below for more information!What You'll Do as a Brake Press Operator:Operate press brake machines to bend, shape, and form sheet metal according to engineering drawings and specificationsSet up and calibrate machines, tooling, and dies for accurate production runsPosition and align materials to ensure precise bending operationsInspect finished components using calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools to verify quality standardsMonitor production processes, troubleshoot minor machine issues, and maintain efficient workflowComplete production documentation, tally sheets, scrap reports, and related records in EpicorFollow safety procedures and perform routine tooling maintenance as neededWhat You Need to Bring to the Brake Press Operator Role:Minimum of 2 years of machine operation experience or strong mechanical aptitudePrevious manufacturing experience with metalworking, bending, or tooling knowledge preferredAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specificationsAbility to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds regularlyAbility to read, write, and comprehend work instructions in EnglishBasic math skills for measurements, production reporting, and material trackingHigh school diploma required; technical education and previous brake press experience preferredAbility to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screeningAbility to wear required PPE, including eye, hand, foot, and hearing protectionWhy You'll Like Working with Doherty Staffing SolutionsEnjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
