Job description
Brake Press OperatorA company in Santa Teresa, NM needs Brake Press Operators. Some the duties include, but are not limited to the following:Programs for parts are input directly to the machine by the operator based on the blueprint.Preparing the machine by loading tools: punches and dies specific to the job requirements.Inspecting finished parts for accuracy and adherence to specifications, making adjustments as needed.Physical Requirements:- Lift up to 40 lbs.- Use of PPE (Safety glasses/shoes, hard hat)Skill Requirements:- Understand machine processes.- Understand blueprints and technical drawings- Ability to spot errors to ensure high quality standards- Basic math, reading and writing skills in English
