Brake Press Operator OpportunityNesco Resource is partnering with a trusted manufacturer in Bedford, OH to hire experienced Brake Press Operators for both first and second shifts. With competitive pay, steady hours, and a strong benefits package, this role offers long-term stability and the chance to continue growing your manufacturing career in a well-established shop environment.Job Responsibilities:Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructionsSet up press brake machines by selecting the appropriate punches and diesAccurately position and align sheet metal for bending operationsProgram CNC controls, including bend angles, pressure, and back gauge settingsOperate press brake equipment and monitor production for quality and accuracyInspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure specifications are metIdentify and troubleshoot issues during the bending processPerform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and lubricationQualifications:Minimum of 2 years of press brake operating experienceStrong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsProficiency with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometersKnowledge of CNC press brake controls and basic programmingSolid math skills, including calculating angles and measurementsCommitment to quality and attention to detailHigh school diploma or GEDAbility to pass a pre-employment screeningShifts: 1st & 2nd Pay: $22–$28 per hour (based on experience) Benefits Include Once Hired In:Medical(POS and HSA), Telemedicine, dental, and vision insuranceWellness BenefitsHSA401(k) with company match (company match 4% max)Life/AD&D (Basic paid by employer)Disability and Accident & Critical CareEAPPaid holidays - 9 paid holidaysPaid vacation (5 days PTO years 1, 10 days PTO year 2, 15 PTO years 3-10, 20 days PTO years 10+)If you're a skilled Brake Press Operator looking for a stable opportunity with competitive pay and benefits, we'd love to connect with you.
