Retail Marketing Specialist - SacramentoBuddies Brand is looking for a Retail Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing team. This field-based position supports Buddies' presence at retail locations throughout the assigned territory and works closely with Sales, Marketing, and retail partners.The Retail Marketing Specialist will build strong relationships with retail teams, support merchandising and product visibility, monitor inventory, provide product education, and help execute retail marketing activities, promotions, demos, and events.Responsibilities include:Building and maintaining relationships with budtenders, store managers, inventory teams, and other retail contacts.Visiting assigned retail accounts and serving as a consistent local representative of Buddies.Ensuring Buddies products are properly displayed, merchandised, priced, and represented on retail menus.Conducting retail audits, merchandising resets, and in-store brand updates.Capturing merchandising photos and completing required field reports.Monitoring product inventory and identifying out-of-stock, low-stock, and reorder opportunities.Gathering feedback from retail teams regarding products, pricing, packaging, promotions, competitors, and customer response.Providing product education to budtenders and store teams.Supporting new product launches and ensuring products are properly presented in stores.Assisting with promotions, budtender incentives, staff contests, demos, and events.Communicating retail opportunities, inventory concerns, and account feedback to Sales and Marketing.Completing required reports, audits, photos, and other field documentation.Following company procedures for mileage, expenses, product handling, timekeeping, and field reporting.We're looking for someone with:Strong communication and relationship-building skills.Ability to work independently in a field-based role.Strong organization and follow-through.Ability to manage changing schedules and multiple retail locations.Comfortable using mobile applications and company systems for reporting.Valid driver's license and ability to legally drive for company business.Ability to obtain and maintain any required California cannabis-industry credentials.Preferred experience includes:Retail or field marketing experience.Sales support or merchandising experience.Cannabis or consumer packaged goods experience.Experience working with retail accounts.Product education, demonstrations, promotions, or event experience.Work and travel requirements include:Regular travel throughout the assigned territory.Travel to multiple retail locations, promotional events, trade shows, and other assigned work locations.Occasional evenings and weekends based on retail, event, and promotional schedules.Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during retail visits, demonstrations, and events.Ability to transport and handle marketing materials, displays, products, and event supplies.Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.Valid driver's license and legal eligibility to drive for company business.Buddies Brand is looking for someone who is outgoing, organized, dependable, and enjoys working directly with retail teams while representing a growing brand in the field.
