Production Team MemberThe role of a Production Team Member assists the Baker in the process and baking of pita bread for Sara's Market & Bakery brand.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist Baker in weighing, measuring, mixing, baking following Sara's Market & Bakery recipeAssist Baker in ensuring temperatures inside building are optimal for proofing and baking doughAssist Baker in making supply and ingredient ordersEnsure quality and freshness of product and communicate any issues to Store Leadership.Inform Baker of any issues of the pita line not working properly.Follow and comply with all applicable procedures and regulations, including Weights and Measures, FDA, health and sanitation, Department of Labor, ADA, HAACP, OSHA and safe work practices.Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner.Leadership may assign other duties, not listed here.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to work in fast paced environment with a sense of urgencyStrong organizational skillsAbility to perform physical requirements of positionAbility to work well with othersStrong written and verbal skillsAbility to inspect product for quality and freshnessBasic computer skillsAble to handle stressful situationsValues diversityAble to work flexible schedule based on needs of store including nights, weekends and holidaysQualifications3+ years working for Commercial bakery businessGuest Service focusedTeam orientedFood Handler PermitWorking ConditionsWalking, standing, bending and stooping for 8-10 hours a dayPush, pull up to 50lbsMental and physical dexterityAbility to climb laddersIteration of dutiesAbility to taste, smell, feel and visually inspect foodUnassisted lifting up to 50lbs or moreWork in varying temperatures
