Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Breast Sonographer (PRN) to join our compassionate, patient-focused breast imaging team. In this role, you will perform high-quality breast ultrasound exams and assist with interventional procedures such as biopsies and localizations. You will verify patient history, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and privacy while working closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary breast care teams. Responsibilities include optimizing imaging techniques, documenting studies in PACS, maintaining equipment and exam rooms, and adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
