Job description
WellStar is seeking a Breast Sonographer (PRN) to provide high-quality breast ultrasound imaging that supports accurate diagnosis and compassionate, patient-centered care. In this per-diem role, you will perform and document breast sonography exams, verify orders and patient history, and collaborate closely with radiologists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary breast care teams. You will ensure optimal image quality, maintain equipment and exam rooms, follow safety and infection-prevention protocols, and support patients with clear, empathetic communication. PRN scheduling offers flexibility while working within an innovative, mission-driven health system.
