Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Breast Sonographer (PRN) to perform high-quality breast ultrasound imaging and support image-guided procedures in a compassionate, patient-centered environment. In this as-needed role, you will verify patient information, obtain clinical history, explain exams, and ensure comfort and safety throughout the visit. You will optimize ultrasound equipment, follow established breast imaging protocols, and assist radiologists with biopsies and other interventional procedures. Working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, you’ll uphold regulatory, safety, and infection-control standards while contributing to efficient workflow, excellent clinical outcomes, and ongoing quality improvement across Wellstar’s breast imaging services.
