Job description
WellStar is seeking a PRN Breast Sonographer to provide high-quality diagnostic breast ultrasound services within our patient-centered care team. This role performs screening and diagnostic breast ultrasounds, assists radiologists with interventional procedures, and ensures accurate image acquisition and documentation. The Breast Sonographer delivers compassionate patient care, explains procedures, and promotes comfort and safety. Responsibilities include equipment operation and quality control, adherence to infection prevention and regulatory standards, and participation in ongoing education. PRN status offers flexible scheduling while supporting high-volume breast imaging services across our Georgia facilities.
