Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Breast Sonographer (PRN) to join our patient-centered imaging team. In this role, you will perform high-quality breast ultrasound examinations, accurately documenting and communicating findings to support timely diagnosis and treatment. You will assist with image-guided breast procedures, verify patient history, and ensure exam completeness in PACS/EMR systems. The Breast Sonographer maintains strict safety and infection-control standards, cares for and troubleshoots ultrasound equipment, and provides compassionate education and emotional support to patients throughout their visit. Collaborating closely with radiologists, technologists, and nursing staff, you will contribute to a culture that values integrity, inclusion, continuous learning, and improved health outcomes across the communities we serve.
