Job description
Wellstar is seeking a compassionate Breast Sonographer to provide high-quality breast ultrasound imaging on a PRN basis. In this role, you will perform diagnostic breast ultrasound exams, assist with image-guided biopsies, and support radiologists in accurate, timely diagnosis of breast disease. You will ensure patient comfort and safety, verify histories, optimize images, and document findings in the EMR. Working in a collaborative, patient-focused environment, you’ll use advanced technology, follow rigorous quality and safety standards, and have access to ongoing education within a leading not-for-profit health system.
