Job description
WellStar is seeking a Breast Sonographer (PRN) to provide high-quality breast ultrasound imaging in a patient-centered, team-based environment. The sonographer performs screening and diagnostic breast exams, supports ultrasound-guided biopsies, and ensures accurate imaging for timely diagnosis. Responsibilities include patient assessment and education, image acquisition and documentation, equipment operation and care, and adherence to safety and infection-control standards. This role collaborates closely with radiologists and clinical staff and participates in ongoing education within a large, innovative not-for-profit health system.
