Job description
Wellstar seeks a skilled Breast Sonographer PRN to join our patient-centered breast imaging team. In this PRN role, you will perform high-quality diagnostic breast ultrasound exams and assist with interventional procedures such as biopsies and needle localizations. Responsibilities include verifying patient history, optimizing image quality, documenting findings in the EMR, and collaborating closely with radiologists, technologists, and nurses to support accurate, timely diagnoses. You will provide compassionate patient education, uphold safety and infection prevention standards, and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive culture focused on continuous learning and improved community health outcomes across Wellstar’s Georgia care settings.
