Job description
WellStar is seeking a Breast Sonographer to provide high-quality diagnostic breast ultrasound services in a compassionate, patient-centered environment. This PRN role performs screening and diagnostic breast ultrasounds, assists with interventional procedures such as biopsies, and ensures accurate image acquisition, documentation, and reporting. The sonographer collaborates with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams, supports patient education and comfort, and adheres to strict safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
