Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Breast Sonographer to perform high-quality breast ultrasound imaging in a patient-centered, team-based environment. This role conducts diagnostic and interventional breast sonography, prepares and positions patients, and documents findings for radiologist interpretation. The sonographer ensures safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance while maintaining and troubleshooting ultrasound equipment. As part of a collaborative, learning-focused culture, this position supports quality initiatives, participates in ongoing education, and helps optimize workflow to improve outcomes for the communities Wellstar serves.
