Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Breast Sonographer to join our patient-centered imaging team. This PRN role performs diagnostic and screening breast ultrasounds, supports biopsies, and ensures high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. You will collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and nurses, explain procedures to patients, and maintain a safe, compassionate environment. Responsibilities include operating ultrasound equipment, documenting exams in PACS/EMR, adhering to safety and infection control standards, and participating in ongoing education within our innovative, community-focused health system.
