Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Breast Sonographer to provide high-quality, patient-centered breast ultrasound imaging on a PRN basis. This role performs screening and diagnostic breast sonography, supports interventional procedures, and ensures accurate image acquisition and documentation. The Breast Sonographer collaborates closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to support timely diagnoses and excellent outcomes. Responsibilities include verifying orders, optimizing imaging protocols, maintaining equipment, following safety and infection control standards, and contributing to quality improvement. Wellstar offers a collaborative, learning-focused environment with exposure to advanced breast imaging practices.
