Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Breast Sonographer (PRN) to join our compassionate, patient-centered imaging team. In this role, you will perform high-quality breast ultrasound exams and assist radiologists with image-guided biopsies and interventional procedures. You will verify histories, optimize imaging protocols, and ensure accurate documentation in PACS while providing clear, empathetic communication to patients. Working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, you’ll uphold safety and infection-control standards, maintain equipment, and engage in ongoing education to support best-practice breast imaging and community-focused care.
