Job description
Wellstar is seeking a PRN Breast Sonographer to provide high-quality diagnostic breast ultrasound imaging in a compassionate, patient-centered environment. This role performs screening and diagnostic breast studies, operates advanced ultrasound equipment, and works closely with radiologists, technologists, and clinical teams to support accurate, timely diagnoses. The sonographer ensures thorough patient preparation and education, maintains detailed exam documentation in the EMR, and adheres to strict safety, infection control, and quality standards while contributing to a collaborative, learning-focused care culture.
