Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Breast Sonographer (PRN) to join our patient-centered breast imaging team. In this per diem role, you will perform high-quality breast ultrasound exams and assist radiologists with diagnostic and interventional procedures. Responsibilities include verifying orders, obtaining patient history, positioning patients, and ensuring accurate image acquisition and documentation in PACS/EMR. You’ll maintain equipment, follow strict safety and infection control standards, and provide compassionate support and clear communication to patients. As part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team, you’ll benefit from advanced imaging technology, ongoing education, and opportunities for growth across Wellstar’s integrated health system.
