Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Breast Sonographer PRN to join our collaborative, patient-focused team in Marietta, GA. In this PRN role, you will perform high-quality breast ultrasound exams, support diagnostic workups, and assist with interventional procedures such as biopsies. You will verify patient history, explain exams, and provide compassionate education throughout the imaging process. Responsibilities include optimizing image quality, documenting studies in EMR/PACS, maintaining equipment, and following strict safety and infection control standards. You’ll work closely with radiologists, nurses, and technologists, with access to advanced technology, ongoing education, and opportunities to grow across our not-for-profit health system.
