Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Breast Sonographer to provide high-quality breast ultrasound imaging on a PRN basis within our patient-centered breast care team. This role performs diagnostic and interventional breast sonography, ensuring accurate image acquisition, appropriate labeling, and timely communication with radiologists. The Breast Sonographer educates and prepares patients, verifies orders and history, and follows safety and infection-control standards. Working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, you’ll support early detection and treatment planning while accessing advanced technology, ongoing education, and growth opportunities across Wellstar’s system.
