Job description
Wellstar is seeking a PRN Breast Sonographer to provide high-quality diagnostic and screening breast ultrasound services within our patient-centered breast imaging program. In this role, you will perform and optimize breast ultrasound exams, ensuring accurate images that support timely diagnosis and care. You will explain procedures, position patients, and maintain a calm, compassionate environment while adhering to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards. Working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, you will document findings in the EMR, support radiologists during procedures, and participate in ongoing education and quality initiatives. This PRN position offers flexibility, exposure to advanced imaging technology, and the opportunity to contribute to community health within a leading not-for-profit health system.
