Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Breast Sonographer to join our patient-centered imaging team on a PRN basis. In this role, you will perform high-quality breast ultrasound exams and support interventional procedures to aid early detection and diagnosis. You’ll verify patient history, explain procedures, and provide compassionate support throughout each exam. Working closely with radiologists, nurses, and technologists, you will optimize imaging protocols, document and archive studies in PACS/EMR, and uphold safety, infection prevention, and privacy standards. As part of a collaborative, mission-driven system, you’ll access ongoing education and opportunities to grow your imaging career.
