Job description
WellStar is seeking a Breast Sonographer (PRN) to provide high-quality breast ultrasound imaging that supports early detection and diagnosis. In this as-needed role, you will perform and document diagnostic breast sonography exams, ensuring accurate images for radiologist interpretation. You’ll deliver compassionate, patient-centered care, clearly explaining procedures and supporting patients during anxious moments. Working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, you’ll follow safety and infection-prevention standards, maintain equipment quality, and contribute to continuous learning, quality improvement, and best practices in a leading, not-for-profit health system.
