Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Breast Sonographer (PRN) to provide high-quality breast ultrasound imaging in a compassionate, patient-centered environment. In this per-diem role, you will perform diagnostic and interventional breast exams, support biopsies, and collaborate closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to guide timely, accurate care. Responsibilities include patient preparation and education, image acquisition and optimization, documentation, and adherence to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards. You’ll work within a collaborative culture that values continuous learning and offers exposure to advanced breast imaging practices across a leading not-for-profit health system.
