Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Breast Sonographer to join our collaborative, patient-focused imaging team. In this PRN role, you will perform high-quality breast ultrasound examinations, support diagnostic and interventional procedures, and contribute to early detection and treatment planning. Responsibilities include obtaining patient history, explaining procedures, optimizing image quality, and accurately documenting findings in the electronic health record. You’ll work closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams, uphold safety and regulatory standards, and participate in ongoing education within our innovative, not-for-profit health system.
