Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Breast Sonographer to join our patient-centered breast imaging team on a PRN basis. In this role, you will perform high-quality breast ultrasound exams to support early detection, diagnosis, and treatment of breast disease. Responsibilities include preparing and positioning patients, acquiring and documenting diagnostic images, and communicating critical findings to radiologists and providers. You will uphold safety and infection control standards, maintain equipment, and ensure accurate EMR documentation while delivering compassionate, culturally sensitive care in alignment with Wellstar’s mission.
