About the Role
BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time Breast Sonographer (RDMS) for Barnes Center for Advanced Med -CAM Breast Center ( St. Louis, MO ) $5,000 Sign on Bonus for eligible candidates Position Details: Day Shift hours: Mon-Fri No Major holidays & possibly 2 Saturdays per year with extra pay if work RDMS or equivalent required Breast Sonography with x- ray (preferred ) Mammography and breast ultrasound experience (highly preferred) Experience: If you have experience in one of the following areas, you could be a good fit: Breast Sonographer, Breast Ultrasound Technologist / Technician, Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Breast Specialty) , Mammography / Ultrasound Technologist Next Steps: If selected to move forward with Interview Process, a Talent Advisor will contact you via email for a screen Overview Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose The Registered Diagnostic Sonographer performs ultrasound imaging, including but not limited to abdominal, small parts, and obstetrical, to adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders, and assist with needle procedures (i.e., biopsies, drainages, needle placements, etc.). May also perform vascular imaging Responsibilities Ensures proper function and readiness of all equipment.
Performs ultrasound imaging examinations and ensures proper documentation of procedures. Performs studies independently, may perform studies on-call, portable exams, and at other sites as required by work area.
