Job description
Bricklayer PositionAt Findorff, we bring expertise and value in construction that extends far beyond building. Our staff help shape communities through a commitment to quality and relationships.As a Bricklayer with Findorff, you'll construct, repair, and maintain brick and block structures. You'll use mortar to lay bricks, concrete blocks, and pre-cut stone while working on a variety of projects.Key Responsibilities:Building or repairing walls, foundations, and decorative masonryLaying bricks, blocks, and stone in mortarRepairing and refurbishing brickworkWorking with construction plansEnsuring walls are weatherproof, waterproof, and secureUsing hand and power toolsFastening bricks with wall ties and mortarCalculating angles and aligning coursesInstalling brick, structural tile, CMU, terra cotta, or stone in buildingsConstructing partitions, arches, and jointsUsing chemicals to clean bricks and stoneFinish mortar jointsSkills & Qualifications:Attention to detailKnowledge of construction and buildingAbility to work well in a teamPhysical fitness, including strength, balance, and coordinationAbility to work well with your handsExcellent hand-eye coordinationGood communication skillsDiversity matters.
