Bridge Saw OperatorMetropolitan Cabinets & Countertops is New England's largest cabinet manufacturer and stone fabricator. Our manufacturing teams are the backbone of our operations, producing custom cabinetry and countertops with precision and care.Position Overview:The Bridge Saw operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating the equipment to cut and prepare materials during the fabrication process.Key Responsibilities:Operate machinery in accordance with established procedures and safety standards.Set up machines for daily production. Cut pieces to size using hard templates or cut to size dimensions.Monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions or irregularities, making adjustments as needed.Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, ensuring they meet production specifications.Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of machines and work areas.Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets.Follow all safety policies and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.Maintain organized and efficient workflow in accordance with company standards.Qualifications:Experience in cabinet, countertop, or stone fabrication a plus.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.Ability to read and follow work orders, diagrams, and measurements accurately.Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment.Willingness to learn new equipment and processes as needed.
