Our worldwide experience and multi-disciplined capabilities encompass all aspects of Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management, Field Inspection, GIS Integrity, Staffing Services, Energy Storage Services and more.The main responsibility of the Brine Facility Operator is to operate and maintain the solution mining facility for Client under contractual arrangement with Gulf ESS.Individuals will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining all the components of the solution mining facility and performing regular, preventative maintenance of pumps, valves, control equipment, pipelines and similar equipment as needed, as well as some occasional reactive repair work.Essential FunctionsMake several daily rounds of Salt Cavern Wells, Brine Ponds, Pipelines, Pump Buildings, and other related equipment to ensure proper operation and checking for faulty equipment, pipe leaks, malfunctioning pumps, valves, etc.Operate equipment such as starting, stopping, or adjusting speed of pumps as needed, valve alignment, and general maintenanceInterface with operations personnel from other organizations, Gulf customers and vendorsWork a rotating shift to cover 24x7 operation, schedule will be 7 on 7 off rotatingFollow written instruction and procedures as well as verbal commands from the Lead OperatorAdhere to established safety and operational procedures for the solution mining facility and follow all Gulf internal protocols and procedures for all environmental requirementsExercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conductAdhere to Gulf's Code of Conduct and related policies and proceduresRequirementsQualifications3+ years of field experience in an industrial facilities operations positionValid Utah driver's licenseRequired as needed rotating shifts as in days, nights, weekends, and holidaysGeneral computer skillsGood written and verbal communication skillsProven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by Gulf's health, safety, drug/alcohol, and harassment policiesPreferred QualificationsBasic Mechanical experience including fluid piping systemsBasic electrical experience including troubleshooting and repair knowledge of pneumatic, electronic, and digital transmitters and controllers, switches, and other process instrumentationPreventative Maintenance Programs experienceEquipment Operating and Rigging CertificationsKnowledge of ASME, API, and ANSI national codes is idealExperience working with Microsoft Excel and data entryHeavy equipment experienceEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent experienceWork Environment/Physical DemandsAbility to lift, push and pull 75 poundsAbility to work in changing climate conditionsAble to work in close quarters, work while kneeling, squatting, sitting, climbing, and standingFollow and adhere to all applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines (ex.
