Broadcast Systems Integration Sales EngineerBMG is a leading provider of media technology solutions and managed services for broadcast, live production, and media operations. We work with enterprises, broadcasters, and production companies to build and operate mission-critical systems. Our core competencies include systems design and integration, live production, staffing and operations, and channel playout infrastructure.The RoleWe're looking for an experienced Broadcast Systems Sales Engineer to own the overall pre-sales process for BMG's system design and integration projects. You'll work directly with prospects during pre-sales to understand and discuss their technical needs, design solutions that fit, and put together the bills of materials (BOMs) that underpin our proposals. You'll report to the EVP, Growth and Marketing and work closely with key members of the sales team as well as BMG's engineering team, serving as the bridge between what the client needs and what our engineers build. This role is AI-native: you'll use AI for research, solution scoping, BOM and proposal development, and technical documentation.What You'll DoThe Broadcast System Sales Engineer combines technical expertise in television, radio, and streaming infrastructure with commercial sales skills to demonstrate, design, and sell broadcast system design, installation and managed services.Core Responsibilities:Pre-Sales Ownership, Own the end-to-end pre-sales process for BMG system design and integration projects, from first technical conversation through final proposalTechnical Consultation, Engage directly with prospects pre-sales to discuss technical needs and serve as the main technical advisor for complex broadcast systemsSolution Design, Custom workflows and equipment configurationsProduct Demonstrations, High-impact demos and POC testsProposal & RFP Support, Build bills of materials (BOMs), RFP responses, and price quotesClient Relationships, Trust-building with engineers and media networksCross-Team Collaboration, Partner closely with key sales team members and the BMG engineering team to align solutions, scope, and pricingWhat We're Looking ForRequired:Education: Bachelors in Broadcast Engineering or related fieldExperience: 5+ years in technical pre-sales, systems integration, or broadcast engineeringTechnical Skills: IP video (SMPTE ST 2110), SDI routing, RF transmission, encoding/streaming, playout automationCommunication Skills: Translating technical specs into business value for non-technical buyersDaily AI experience; ability to use AI for market research and analysisComfort with sales process and ability to partner closely with the sales organizationWhy Join BMGOwn pre-sales for a growing system design and integration businessDesign real broadcast systems and see them through to build with BMG engineeringUse AI to speed up solution scoping, BOMs, proposals, and technical documentationCompetitive salary, meaningful bonus, health insurance, 401(k), PTOHow to ApplySubmit your resume, cover letter, and examples of system designs, BOMs, or proposals you've built or supported (redacted as needed).Equal Opportunity Employer: BMG is committed to building a diverse and inclusive team.
