Bronx, New York - Infectious Disease Physician Job

Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible Infectious Disease physician
Permanent position

2026 Infectious Disease fellows encouraged to apply
Join an established, collegial team of seven Infectious Disease physicians and one experienced nurse practitioner
Balanced mix of inpatient consultative services and outpatient clinic
Each physician covers approximately four months of inpatient Infectious Disease consults annually
Monday-Friday schedule
One administrative day each week that may be completed remotely from home
Approximately eight weekends of phone-only Infectious Disease call annually
Outpatient volume averages 7-9 patients per half-day clinic session
Six half-day clinic sessions weekly during outpatient months
During inpatient consult months, clinic is reduced to two half-day sessions weekly
Opportunity to teach residents within an active residency program
Spanish-speaking physicians preferred, but not required

Organization Information:
Single hospital practice
Competitive compensation package
Base salary: $245,000
Productivity bonus typically $50,000-$60,000 annually
Additional quality incentive up to $25,000 annually
Eligible for both Federal and New York State loan forgiveness programs
