Buca Host Position

As a Buca Host at our Florida Mall location, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to warmly welcome guests, manage reservations, and ensure a smooth flow of seating throughout the restaurant. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive atmosphere, addressing guest inquiries, and providing information about our menu and specials. Additionally, you will collaborate with the waitstaff and management to optimize seating arrangements and enhance overall guest satisfaction. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences that encourage repeat visits and positive word-of-mouth for our establishment.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with reservation management systems.

Knowledge of food and beverage service.

Bilingual abilities to assist a diverse clientele.

Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.

Manage the reservation system and seating chart to optimize table turnover and guest flow.

Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.

Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and service.

Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and a focus on resolution.

Skills:

The required skills of strong communication and interpersonal abilities will be utilized daily as you interact with guests and staff, ensuring a welcoming environment. Your customer service experience will help you effectively manage guest expectations and resolve any issues that may arise. Familiarity with reservation systems will aid in efficiently organizing seating arrangements and optimizing guest flow. Preferred skills, such as knowledge of food and beverage service, will enhance your ability to provide informed recommendations to guests. Bilingual abilities will allow you to connect with a broader range of customers, further enriching their dining experience.
