Summary
About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency. It is located at the Kenner Army Health Clinic located on Fort Lee, Virginia. The primary purpose is to performs routine Budget Analyst functions for one or more funds for the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF). Receives approved fund targets for assigned account(s) and allocates funds organizations or Cost Centers This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Recruitment incentives MAY be authorized for highly qualified candidates
Responsibilities
Perform a variety of budgetary and administrative functions to support funding execution.
Research un-liquidated obligations and deobligates unused funds to increase funding available.
Corrects omissions and discrepancies on source documents.
Monitor quarterly expenditure rates, and keeping costs within funding limitations.
Reviews the use of funds throughout the fiscal year using a computer with spreadsheet and database software applications programs.
Recommend budget adjustments and resolve budget problems with departments serviced.
Applying and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of laws, rules, procedures, and/or regulations accurately.
Provide management with financial information, such as financial reports showing the status of receipts, obligations, and expenditures of funds.
